At OpenVerseVfx Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality education and ensuring our students and participants have a positive experience. We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your enrollment or request a refund. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for our courses and webinars.

General Refund and Cancellation Policy

Course and Webinar Cancellations by OpenVerseVfx Academy

OpenVerseVfx Academy reserves the right to cancel any course or webinar due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of such a cancellation, participants will receive a full refund of any fees paid or have the option to transfer to another course or webinar.

Student-Initiated Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Before Start Date

Full Refund: Participants who cancel their enrollment at least 14 days before the start date of the course or webinar are eligible for a full refund of the tuition or registration fee.

Partial Refund: Participants who cancel their enrollment within 14 days of the start date but before the course or webinar begins are eligible for a 50% refund of the tuition or registration fee.

Cancellation After Start Date

Week 1 (Courses Only): Students who cancel within the first week of the course are eligible for a 25% refund of the tuition fee.

After Week 1 (Courses Only): No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after the first week of the course.

Webinars: No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after the webinar has started.

Refund Process

Request Submission: To request a refund, participants must submit a written request via email to team@openversevfx.com, including their full name, course or webinar name, and reason for cancellation.

Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of the refund request approval. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional cases such as serious illness, personal emergency, or other significant life events, OpenVerseVfx Academy may consider partial or full refunds on a case-by-case basis. Participants must provide supporting documentation and submit a written request to team@openversevfx.com

Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees are non-refundable, including:

Registration fees

Materials and supplies fees

Course and Webinar Transfers

Participants may request to transfer their enrollment to a different course, session, or webinar offered by OpenVerseVfx Academy. Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the original start date. Approval is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
